Christmas Bingo Printable: 50 Free Cards in Picture, Word and Number Versions

Christmas Bingo Printable

These free printable Christmas bingo cards come in four downloads: picture bingo for kids, word bingo for early readers, classic 1–75 number bingo for big groups, and a party pack with movie, Christmas light, family-gathering and office bingo. Every main set has 50 unique cards, so a whole classroom or a 30-person office party can play without anyone sharing a card. Calling cards, a caller checklist, bingo patterns and a blank make-your-own card are all included.

Most free Christmas bingo printables give you 6 or 10 cards, which runs out the moment the cousins arrive. These were built for real holiday crowds, and they print on plain letter paper with two cards per page.

How do you play Christmas bingo?

Give each player a different Christmas bingo card. A caller draws calling cards one at a time and reads them out, and players cover each matching square. The middle square is free. The first player to complete the pattern for that round, such as a line, four corners or a full card, shouts “Bingo!” and wins after the caller checks the card.

Christmas picture bingo for kids

Picture bingo is the easiest Christmas bingo for kids because nobody needs to read. Each square has a colorful picture and its name underneath: Santa, a snowman, a reindeer, a gift, mittens, a toy train, hot cocoa and 23 more. That makes it great for preschool and kindergarten classrooms, and the labels quietly help early readers too.

Hold up each calling card as you say it, so the youngest players can match the picture. For toddlers, play to four corners rather than a full line so every round ends before attention does.

Christmas word bingo for early readers

Word bingo uses 40 Christmas words, from easy ones like Star, Bell and Gift to stretchier ones like Gingerbread, Mistletoe and Nutcracker. Teachers use it as a festive sight-word and spelling game; families use it as a quieter version for mixed ages.

To make it harder for older kids, have the caller spell the word instead of saying it. To make it easier, show the calling card so players can match the letters.

Free printable Christmas bingo cards 1–75 (number bingo)

The number cards follow the classic layout: B is 1–15, I is 16–30, N is 31–45, G is 46–60 and O is 61–75, with a free star in the middle. This is the version to use for large groups, senior centers and office parties, because everyone already knows how it works.

The download includes all 75 calling cards to cut out, plus a caller board where you cross off each number as you call it. When someone shouts “Bingo!”, you can check their card against the board in seconds.

How many Christmas bingo cards do you need?

You need one unique card per player, plus a few spares. Duplicates cause ties, which is why each main set here has 50 different cards. Use this as a guide:

Tip: slide cards into sheet protectors and hand out dry-erase markers, and you can reuse the same set every year.

Christmas bingo for adults

Christmas bingo for adults works best without a caller. Players just watch for things to happen, which makes it funny instead of quiet. The party pack has three adult versions with 10 unique cards each.

Christmas movie bingo

Mark a square when it happens on screen: snow falls at the perfect moment, a big-city career person goes home, a small-town festival saves the day, a kiss in the snow, matching pajamas. It works with almost any holiday movie, so you can play during a whole marathon.

Funny family gathering bingo

This one is for the grown-ups at Christmas dinner: someone mentions the weather, someone naps on the couch, “back in my day…”, the dog steals food, a board-game rules argument. Mark it quietly; getting caught is half the fun.

Office party bingo

Office holiday bingo turns a stiff party into a game: reindeer antlers, “let’s circle back”, a white elephant steal, the boss’s speech, someone eating three cookies. It also works on a video call: email the PDF and have everyone mark their own card.

Christmas light bingo (a car game)

Christmas light bingo turns the drive to see holiday lights into a game. Kids watch out the window for an inflatable snowman, candy cane lights, a Santa on a roof, lights flashing to music, and the one house with no lights at all. There’s no caller: the first to finish a line wins the front seat on the way home.

How to play Christmas bingo

Here’s the full Christmas bingo game, start to finish:

  1. Print and cut. Print one card per player and the calling cards for your version. Cut the calling cards apart and fold them.
  2. Hand out markers. Candy, buttons, mini marshmallows, crayons or dry-erase markers all work.
  3. Choose a caller. For kids, an adult or older sibling calls. For adults, rotate the caller each round.
  4. Announce the pattern. Line, four corners, a shape or blackout. Patterns are below.
  5. Call and mark. Draw one calling card at a time and read it out. Tick it on the caller checklist.
  6. Shout Bingo! The first player to complete the pattern shouts it. The caller checks the card against the checklist, then hands out a prize.

The 3-Round Bingo Party: how to make Christmas bingo fun

Christmas bingo gets boring when every round is the same. The fix is to make each round harder and the prize better. Three rounds take about 30 minutes and keep everyone in the game until the end.

  1. Round 1: Quick line (5 minutes). Any straight line wins. Fast, so everyone gets into it. Small prize: a candy cane.
  2. Round 2: Christmas shape (10 minutes). Pick the Christmas Tree, Candy Cane or Present pattern. Medium prize: a mug of cocoa mix or a scratch-off.
  3. Round 3: Blackout (15 minutes). Every square covered. The winner gets the big prize, and the rest of the room is shouting at the caller by the end.

For mixed ages, let kids play picture bingo while adults play family-gathering bingo at the same time. Same rounds, two winners, no one bored.

Christmas bingo patterns

Calling a pattern before each round keeps the game fresh. The party pack includes a printable patterns page with all nine:

  • Single line: any row, column or diagonal (the classic).
  • Four corners: the quickest round, great for toddlers.
  • Letter X: both diagonals.
  • Christmas tree: a triangle with a trunk down the middle.
  • Picture frame: every square around the edge.
  • Candy cane: a hooked shape in the second column.
  • Present (plus sign): the middle row and middle column.
  • Postage stamp: a 2×2 block in the top-right corner.
  • Blackout: every square: the grand finale.

Make your own: blank Christmas bingo template

The party pack ends with blank bingo cards: a 5×5 grid with the BINGO header and a free star in the middle. Fill the squares with family names, inside jokes, classroom vocabulary or your own drawings. If you’d rather draw the pictures yourself, our easy Christmas drawings are simple enough to sketch into a square.

Holiday bingo and winter bingo

Need holiday bingo that isn’t only about Christmas, or winter bingo for January? The picture set is mostly winter items (snowflakes, mittens, sleds, hot cocoa, penguins and skis), so for a winter-only game simply remove the Santa, Mrs. Claus, Christmas tree, gift and angel calling cards before you play. Players just won’t hear those squares called, and the game still works.
