How many days until Christmas 2026?

However you ask it, how many days till Christmas, how long until Christmas or simply days till Christmas, the answer is the same: 58 days. This page is our Christmas countdown 2026, and it resets automatically for next year the moment Christmas is over.

Christmas 2026 is 58 days away. Christmas is always on December 25 in the United States, and in 2026 it lands on a Friday, which gives most people a three-day weekend from Friday to Sunday. Christmas Eve falls on Thursday, December 24, 2026.

We count days the way people say them out loud: the day before Christmas is one day until Christmas, so Christmas Eve always shows 1. The hours, minutes and seconds count down to midnight on Christmas morning in your local time, so the numbers are right whether you are in New York, Chicago, Denver or Los Angeles.

Christmas countdown in weeks, sleeps, Fridays and more
